You have 3-months to use up all your time.

When you call the chat line, your call terminates at a rural telephone company.
Some of the larger telephone companies, from time to time, will block their callers from reaching us. They do this for a variety of reasons, none of which are allowed by law.
Just fill out the online complaint form and send it to the FCC right from your computer.
The FCC will order your telephone company to unblock your service.
Remember 712-432-5700 MUST be included in the complaint.
This is the number you are trying to reach, but you’ve been blocked.
Remember to include YOUR phone number and the name of your long distance carrier. Otherwise the FCC will not know whom to contact to unblock your service.
See the BOTTOM of the form for a box to explain your complaint. In the box, tell the FCC that your phone company (name) is blocking you from dialing 712-432-5700 and you want the block removed ASAP. There is NO COST to file a complaint and it takes the FCC about 4 weeks to resolve this issue.
But I want to call now, what can I do in the meantime?
You can purchase a low cost pre-paid phone card almost anywhere gift cards are sold. Usually a card will cost you about 2-cents per minute. ATT, Verizon and many smaller companies sell them. Remember you are looking for PREPAID PHONE CARDS not RELOADING CARDS for wireless phones. Just read the back of the card carefully before buying it. You can also purchase pre-paid phone cards online and call us immediately! Just do a “Google” search for “pre-paid phone cards” and many companies will come up.
How do they work?
All cards will require you to call an 800 toll free number or a free local access number. After calling, you will enter the PIN which is printed on the pre-paid phone card. (or you will enter the PIN given to you when you ordered online) Then you will dial the free chat line at 712-432-5700. You can stay until you run out of minutes on the prepaid card.

Our chat line does not allow callers to post items, like on a bulletin board. Because we cannot monitor the chatline, we cannot mediate disputes between callers.
